A New Moon is a good time to set goals and to start a new project. It also represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of another new 28 day cycle.
Sun conjunct Moon gives an invigorating burst of energy and initiative.
This New Moon in Scorpio is an exception to the rule… it just might feel that it’s too hot to handle. Since there is a Solar Eclipse packing a punch at this New Moon I’ll call it a Frankenmoon! Is it Trick or Treat for You? Find out!! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I have to keep it real and not candy coat it.
Here is how I look at this Eclipse ~ the basic theme is, back then vs. now. I’ll use music listening for example. It’s like being a teenager who enjoys the Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears. But now your choice of listening music is Adele, Lady Antebellum, & Bruno Mars. There’s no inclination to go back to listening to Side 1 & 2 of a B Boys album. So this Eclipse is like that. We change, grow & graduate into different preferences. Yesterday was just that, yesterday. This is your excellerated turning point of no return. Welcome in the new even if you don’t know where it will take you. It’s possibly the kind of growth that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Eclipses look for weak links and they take away anything that is not strong, productive and relevant in your life. That said, there is ALWAYS a silver lining with every astrological occurrence. They always work on our behalf, even if we don’t understand it at the time.
Mars (the action planet) is now in Gemini and it’s a strong force to the Moon (our emotions) and Mercury (thoughts) as it is behind us in a most positive way. In addition, Venus in probing Scorpio is conjunct the Sun and it’s energy beams are harmonious. Life will pick up speed, and progress along with some unraveling of plans and nerves because of the tension coming from other planets.
Saturn (life’s lessons) in brilliant minded Aquarius will be sending it’s own beams of loveliness to the Moon and Mercury.
Additional big cosmic news is that Mars (action) will be going retrograde. Retrograde Mars starts on October 30th and ends on January 12, 2023. Life slows down during this time for all of us. The Autobahn highway of life is under construction renovation, let’s say for 75 days.
